the reviews have went from "mostly positive" to "mixed" and the negative reviews are only rising. its actually growing close to a 50/50 ratio and all because of censorship.

the community tried to warn you WELL IN ADVANCE that this would happen, you ignore and instead side with your minority playerbase. Well you cant say we didnt try and you cant say we never gave feedback. if you only want a maximum of 10 players playing this game and of those 10 players they only play for 1 hour a week than so be it, thats your decision. gl, even if the game doesnt get shut down like first assault did then it will never be an esport because of lack of community support. and without Esports funding it then well its only a matter of time before the life line is cut.

what a shame. But you know whats scumbaggish about all of this? you guys still have the nerv to advertise the game with UNCENSORED art despite being so dead set on censoring the game and giving BS reasons on why you are censoring it... even the top of your official page still has uncensored taty and kurenai art. disgusting business practices.

That makes no sense, just because you don't agree with their oppinion doesn't mean they are trolling. If you like the game rate it good, if you don't rate it bad. I'm in the anti-censorship camp but I didn't down vote it because It doesn't affect me enough for me to hate the game but I also didn't vote it up because it does make me enjoy the game less, especially because the art is a major part of what got my interest.

Oh my god, just shut up about this already. If you're not happy go play something else, how hard is that?

You know what make sense? numbers! So lest use statistics:

So... around 1.932 of 12.320 Hyper Universe users (15.6%) refunded the game since the changes or censorship until today.

So right now we are 10.388 user than keep playing this game, so the 84.4% still supporting the game.

    Numbers dont lie, people do.

However you can see about 5500-6000 refunds by looking over the charts, some before a sudden sales jump that led to no increase in playerbase, and may afterward. So it looks like the game has had it's playerbase cut by a third twice, and even then some people can't refund the game cause they played it too long. numbers don't lie, but people do misinterpret them.

What about people who didn't get refunds, but also aren't supporting the game anymore (by playing it, primarily) anyways (because they no longer meet the requirements to get a refund, because they're too lazy to ask for it, because they're the type that feels getting refunds is dirty even if you don't like the game after you buy it, or other potential reasons)?

I mean, if the game really had "10,388 user that keep playing this game", I imagine queue times would be a lot better...

Of course, not all of that has to do with censorship. People can leave a game for a variety of reasons, too.

None of the reviews are about game mechanics. At all. They're all the same vape-chugging neckbeard . This is not longer the devs fault, or the internet bullies making fun of people for caring so much about in-game boobs. You guys are literally losing your minds and writing "reviews" that have nothing to do with the gameplay and the game is going to suffer because you're so out of touch you think artwork asset changes are tantamount to the Mona Lisa getting painted over to modernize it or the government ending net neutrality. For frame of reference, a guy left a review that said "Much censorship. So dumb. Wow." A guy used a crappy, outdated meme 12 year olds giggle at to voice his displeasure over censored boobs.

If they took the sex scenes out of Mass Effect, would the game be bad? No. If they took the romance systems out of the Witcher games would they be bad? No.

As I'm not super familiar with that website's data, is this all people who own it, or specifically those who bought it? I know a handful of founders who got it for free from beta participation, and I think players who received it for free are a fair portion of the playerbase atm.

I do find the obnoxious sounding reviews are pretty silly, but when people completely dismiss a review based on art, that's silly to me too. Some people love games for the story, some for the art/graphic direction, some for the gameplay mechanics, or any combo of that or more. What one person finds really important another may not, but a well rounded game tends to make most players happy.

I think my issue with this whole censorship bit was in feeling that it was handled poorly. When things a playerbase is concerned about gets handled poorly this early into a game's release (for NA/Global at least.) it can have a pretty negative impact on the start the game has, and a poor start on a relatively small playerbase doesn't really pave a path for success.

No trolls or lies here, just numbers.

People don't leave negative reviews about the gameplay because they find the gameplay enjoyable or at the least don't have an issue with it. It's amazing how you don't understand that, but then it seems even slightly complex subjects confuse you so I'll let your incompetence slide.

Also you're completely misguided in your crusade to separate aesthetics from a game. A game isn't just gameplay, it is the entire package that imparts the intended experience onto the player. People buy skins in League of Legends because they like the APPEARANCE. People buy into Dota2's casino because they enjoy the APPEARANCE of the cosmetics.

    Graphics DO matter.

There is a list. Just a min ago as im writing this only 54 ppl are playing the game. Ut peaks to 124 ppl in the last 24 hours and the games all time peak is 500. If only 50 ppl are actively playing the game then you have a problem. Hope everyone is enjoying the long que times because its probally gonna get worse as people stop playing.

You can play it without steam. So it's not real stats. But i can bet there is no more than 1k active players on both servers. Censor killed this ^^v
